My Background
Sierra Stacey (formerly Tanner) is a certified biodynamic craniosacral therapist through the Body Intelligence School and holds a bachelor's degree in Human Physiology with specialized training in the somatic arts and trauma-resolution. She has completed 740 hours of craniosacral training through Body Intelligence and is continuing to pursue post-graduate studies with Dr. Jonathan Evans on resolving birth trauma in newborns and babies. Her teachers Ryan Hallford and Dr. Brian Tierney both have over 20 years of experience in the healing arts and helped shape her approach founded on cranial work, somatics, attachment theory and trauma-resolution.

Sierra's desire to heal holistically from her own trauma led her into in-depth studies of yoga, meditation and ceremonial practices as well as more western approaches informed by interpersonal neurobiology and the polyvagal theory. She realized that what lay at the cornerstone of healing are two fundamental principles; safety and connection. Her eventual discovery of biodynamic craniosacral work provided the novel experience of a modality that allowed her body to feel profoundly listened to, which gave access to a depth of surrender that finally brought long-held traumatic patterns to their resolution. Experiencing the gradual relief of her eating disorder and complex PTSD symptoms, she became passionate about bringing this work to others on their path to healing and recovery.
She specializes in working with survivors of abuse and those in recovery from addiction as well as helping restore healthy function after injuries, concussions or surgeries.
